Example report — not an analysis
Hand-written to show the format, for a hypothetical hip thrust filmed from the side with a glute-growth goal. It was not generated from any video and is never attached to your submissions.
Hip thrust (example)
Side view · Glute growth · Illustrative
- no time
Example: at the top of each rep the ribs appear to flare and the lower back arches while the hips are already extended.
Clearly visible
- no time
Example: the shins look angled backward at lockout, which may shift the movement toward the hamstrings — this can't be confirmed from video.
Uncertain interpretation
- no time
Example: the bar stays level across the hips with no visible side-to-side tilt.
Clearly visible
- Example: consistent setup position on the bench from rep to rep.
- Example: controlled lowering phase without dropping into the bottom.
1.Try 'chin and ribs down' as you finish the rep.
Why: In this example, extra range at the top seems to come from the lower back rather than the hips.
Test it: Film one set with the cue; compare whether the torso stays level at lockout.
2.Try moving your feet 3–5 cm closer to you.
Why: May bring shins closer to vertical at the top, which many lifters prefer for glute-focused thrusts.
Test it: Do 2 sets each foot position and note which you feel most in the target area.
Example: one set with a 2-second pause at the top using the 'ribs down' cue, filmed from the side.
- Example: side view can't show whether the knees drift inward.
- Example: tempo between sampled frames can't be judged reliably.
Suggested next angle: Example: add a front-on clip to check knee tracking.
Based on still frames sampled from your video. Does not measure muscle activation, force or joint loads, and is not a diagnosis.
